On whose bloody ticket does Amann expect to run?

For an old school guy, Jimmy sure doesn’t seem to understand basic party loyalty and the meaning of the word respect. Right now his war-mongering buddy Joe Lieberman is campaigning to get a Republican elected President!

What makes Amann think us Democrats have forgotten the way in which he thumbed his nose at the Party and our primary processes?

In his own words:

"Shame on all of us if we allow a shrieking minority to hijack the primary."

- Jim Amann, talking about Connecticut Democrats, August 2006

"The problem with the governor is she doesn't know how to honor a deal. She is a very dishonorable human being. When you don't honor an agreement, you are dishonorable. Even John Rowland honored a deal. This governor doesn't get it."

- Jim Amann, reminiscing about Gov. Rowland, April 2007

“They must be … brain-dead,” Amann said in an interview this week, punctuating the middle of that sentence with a qualifier that can’t be printed here.... "I’d like to know what session they were in,” Amann said. “You can go on and on about the victories.”

- Jim Amann, on critics of the accomplishments of his supermajority, June 2007
